It is much loved for its particular lance-shaped foliage: the upper part is of an intense dark green color, while the lower one is of a beautiful purple-purple shade. The leaves are covered with a whitish down, which gives the plant a soft appearance. For its wonderful combination of colors Tradescantia 'Hijau Baru' is perfect for adorning any type of environment. It likes very bright spaces, which guarantees the optimal variegation of the leaves, but it is preferable to avoid direct sunlight.
