Plant in full sun in spring, after the threat of frost and successively through June. Requirements are similar to snap beans and garden beans. Pick immature pods when plump but before yellowing begins. Boil in the pod for 3 1/2 minutes in lightly salted water. Remove beans from pods and salt as desired. Eat hot or cold, as finger food or in other dishes or freeze, in or out or the pod, for later use. Immature pods taste and look better, cook faster, and are more digestible because complex carbohydrates of immature sees are not formed.
