Blooming in late spring to early summer, Concord Crush shows off upright, ruffled purple petals along with the signature down-turned petals at its base. Siberian irises can be planted in fall in a sunny location. Does well in any regular soil but thrives under moist conditions in full sun. Naturalizing. Iris is a genus of between 200–300 species of flowering plants with showy flowers. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species. A must have perennial, the iris tolerates wet, boggy areas and is very adaptable to a variety of soil types.
