Charm begonias boast variegated foliage which sets them apart. Greenhouse grown charm foliage is yellow, but in the sun they will get a red tinge with red edging on their leaves. Charm begonias have single blooms that look great all summer. They are best grown in containers as house plants or for partial shade landscape use. Begonia ‘Charm’ is a very attractive semperflorens type Begonia. The green leaves are oval shaped and randomly mottled with a lemon yellow variegation. The variegation comes out with age and high light conditions. It has a bushy growth habit and as it matures will trail over the edge of a pot or hanging basket. The flowers are a clear pink and it is ever blooming if given enough light. Give it strong light but not any hot sun.
