A must for pickling! Direct seed, 1 seed per inch, in a sunny place in the garden in late spring or early summer. Enrich soil with mature compost. Watering tips. During germination, keep entire seedbed evenly moist. Allow soil surface to dry between waterings. To use the leaf as a dried herb, harvest before the plant flowers. Mature seeds can be harvested for a spice.
