I purchased a number of hydrangeas from Hirts recently. They were all packaged well. Of course being 4' they were pretty small but majority were healthy and a few were a bit distressed with some leaves coming off. Overall, I had a positive experience from Hirts and will definitely order again. They processed the order quickly. Perhaps it was due to proximity. I'm in IL and the order came within a few days. No major irreparable damage. Some of them just needed some water and air. The Bobo I got was probably the most twig looking one compared to the others in the order which included quick fire fab and firelight tidbit so that's why I'm giving this one 4 stars. The others are 5 stars. Since they are so small, I pray they make it through the winter.
