Black Robert Mitcham Peppermint, an early peppermint selection dating back to around 1750. Once was a mainstay of oil production both in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and England. We thought it had disappeared until Don Roberts, former director of the OSU USDA germ plasm repository provided the authentic Mitcham Black Peppermint. This hardy mint exudes a sweet minty aroma that you can almost taste on the tip of your tongue. We are quite excited to bring this variety back into commerce.
