CLEMATIS: Always called the "Queen of Vines," nothing else makes the spectacular show of a clematis in full bloom. In almost all zones, these magnificent plants decorate mailboxes, trellises and porches with cascades of some of the most beautiful blooms in the flower kingdom, and they're not difficult to grow. There's no reason you can't add them to your landscape. Clematis 'Violet Elizabeth' is a deciduous climber that produces a profusion of large, soft pink, double flowers 7 inches across. Flowering comes twice, once in late spring to early summer and then again in late summer to early fall. This large-flowered clematis is great for medium-sized trellises or containers. Great for sunny areas in small or large gardens. Delicate mauve-pink 4-5" (10-13cm) double flowers. Mature height 6-9' (2-3m). Pruning group B1.

Young, healthy and thriving clematis', very happy with my purchase.

the clematis from Hirt's gardens, 3 was in my first order, 5 in my last order. Both times I received the packages within 3 days. The first 3 clematis' arrived very well packaged with 3 little healthy clematis plants. I planted those 3 within 3 days of there delivery. All 3 are thriving. The second package was also delivered timely, packaged very well and had 5 gorgeous healthy young clematis plants. These 8 are all very young clematis' but were healthy at delivery so it is now up to me to plant them well and keep them watered in the Kansas heat, so far so good.
