They are usually either sautèed in olive oil stuffed and baked with the stems and seeds intact, as the seeds give the peppers their characteristic flavor and sweet taste.

Sweet French Vidi Pepper: 70 days - A French variety that offers very early harvests of elongated bell red gourmet-type peppers. 6 to 7 inches long dark green peppers are thick-walled and turn intensely red and sweet when mature. Vigorous plants set fruit well even under stressful conditions and are resistant to tobacco mosaic virus.
