Product Description

Ficus elastica is the classic Rubber Tree, Rubber Plant or India Rubber Plant. Native to India and Malaysia, elastica is among the oldest plants used as houseplants worldwide. As a houseplant, Ficus is very popular. Able to adapt to and endure lower light conditions and generally poor treatment, The Rubber Tree is a winner indoors. Provide as much light as possible, keep away from cold and drafts in winter, keep soil lightly to moderately moist with good drainage. Most any soil will be fine and largely sandy soils mixed with some organics are ideal. Light fertilization is best. "Strawberry & Cream RUBBER TREE" - Nice selection of this tropical, evergreen tree; large, shiny leaves attractively outlined in strawberry-pink; indoor or summer patio site, outdoors in mildest Inland areas.

This is such as gorgeous plant and was a great deal compared to the other nurseries I looked at. I have received several complements on this one in the office!

I bought this same plant from another vendor. And within a day or two it started growing mold and was dying. The service from them was disappointing. I immediately found Hirts. Read some reviews and noticed this company has been around for yrs. I felt confident in purchasing this plant from them. Boy was I right! Not only did it come extremely healthy but the leaves are huge!!! Way bigger than my previous plant. This is now the place I come to, to order any plants. Because I know they are arriving to me with the best of care. Thank you!!

I absolutely love this little guy, he brings a smile to my face every morning. Packing was a little messy, but with Christmas rush, poor plants felt it but survived! Yay
