Red Rock Stonecrop Perennial - Sedum - Loves the Sun - Gallon Pot

SEDUM: An excellent rock-hardy plant! Flowering late spring and summer. They enjoy full sun, but some shade is OK. A reliable, hardy and easy to grow perennial, Sedums provide color and interest to your garden from spring to the first snow of winter. Sedum spurium ‘Red Rock’ is a red sport of ‘Fuldaglut’ with extremely vigorous growth habit. Plants emerge with red foliage in spring. In July, the plants bloom deep pink to red. The short clumping plants only reach around 6” tall and around 12”wide or more. It prefers a well drained soil in full sun. The hardiness is zone 3-9 and can it be planted in spring summer or fall. This new Sedum combines nicely with other low growing Sedums like Sedum rupestre ‘Angelina’.
