Matucana is a genus of cacti, containing approximately 20 species of mostly globular plants. The Matucana genus groups succulent plants originating in Peru – precisely in the province of Huarochirí – but spread throughout South America. Normally solitary globose cactus that may clump with age. Stem: Flat globular to elongate with age. Vivid reddish pink blooms. Flowers more than once in several flushes throughout the summer and can flower just about all year round given the right conditions. May not be in bloom at time of shipping.
