Jersey Highbush Blueberry Plant - Vaccinium - 2.5" Pot - Hardy

I ordered two different times because I was so pleased with my own blueberry starter plant that was very healthy, green and after putting into the ground is thriving in the acidic soil. The other two blueberry plants I gave as gifts to two of our neighbors and they loved the healthy starters and that they are self pollinating. Don't even need another one, but can choose if desired any variety and they will do well together. This seller is very reasonably priced including the shipping; no gouging the customer and I've gotten healthy plants that are still doiing well in the ground. I don't think you'll find a better deal unless it's from a free source off line.

I bought 3 of this variety because it will do well in our area. The other two I gave as early Christmas gifts to my neighbors. All of the plants are healthy, green and well packaged. I planted mine right away after giving it a drink of water and allowing it to soak in a couple of minutes. The price is quite affordable and I feel like I got more value in a very healthy plant for my money and it arrived in a few days from placing orders. I will be a return customer. I love how nice this starter plant arrived; healthy, green and no wilting of leaves. I planted it the next day and watered well. Looks great and placed a screen around it to protect it from rabbits. The price is quite reasonable and would make a great gift for neighbors who love fresh blueberries and the plant requires little maintenance. It is suggested to read a lot about the varieties before purchasing and this particular one does very well w/o having to get another plant as it is self pollinating. Though it will take approx. 3 years to produce berries, it will be worth the wait to get sweet rich antioxidant fresh fruit to pick. I've bought several small potted live plants from Hirt's and have not been disappointed. This is my favorite go to for live plants.
