The Golden Gem Rubber Tree, also known as the Council Tree is native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. It prefers morning sun or very bright, indirect light. Keep evenly moist, not wet or dry. Feed monthly with a general purpose house plant food spring thru fall. Trim as needed.

    I was hoping to have more than one stem, as pictured, but received only 1 stem, which is ok. However, some larger leaves were simply folded up to fit the plant into the box for shipping, resulting in bent leaves which are also starting to show brown marks where they were creased. I am happy to have this plant anyhow and it is otherwise healthy.
