Product Description

QUINCE: Flowering quince (Chaenomeles speciosa or Japonica) is an old-fashioned deciduous shrub that American farmers of the 1800s often grew on their homesteads for its beauty and sometimes for a little bit of fruit. It's a bit of a mystery why farmers chose to grow this plant, as it does not produce large amounts of quality fruit--it is thought perhaps they simply loved the beauty of its early spring flowers. (Quince) Double Take™ Pink Storm, A double take is what you’ll do when you see this Quince that has flowers that look like a Camellia. The Double Take series gives Quince a complete makeover starting with a spectacular display of big, double flowers in early spring. The flower color is a bold pink. Look a while longer and you’ll also notice that Double Take is without thorns or fruit, and extremely drought tolerant. Double Take™ Pink Storm is excellent for hedging, mass planting and even flower arranging. A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

    Wonderful

Posted by Unknown on Sep 30th 2018

I understood it was a 4” pot, but I thought it would probably be a dormant twig. The plant arrived quickly and appears extremely healthy, with fresh and healthy foliage. Seems to have handled transplant well.
