Very large panicles of pure-white flowers are produced in abundance all Summer long above dark-green clumps of foliage. Will often rebloom for Fall if deadheaded. Garden phlox is a staple in perennial gardens/borders. Attractive to hummingbirds. Grows best in moderately fertile, well-drained soils with even moisture. Full sun to light shade is preferred. 'David' has good powdery mildew resistance provided there is good air circulation.
