A new member of the Bloomerang® family, Pink Perfume is a show stopper in color and fragrance!
Tiny, trumpet-like flowers emerge first in spring, and then again from midsummer until the first frost. The buds resemble slender spikes, with a single ball on the end that opens up with 4 to 5 petals, revealing a star-shaped bloom. The petals are pale pink, popping against the darker pink throats.
The flowers are held in cone-shaped clusters at the ends of short stems. The stems are adorned with tiny leaves that create the mounded shape of this small shrub. Reaching just 4 to 5 feet high and wide, this compact plant is bred for containers, and looks amazing in mixed borders.
Pink Perfume will envelop your garden with the sweet scent of lilac. Easy to grow and mildew-resistant, this little shrub will wow your neighbors. Pruning right after spring blooming creates a much fuller shrub with more branches?and more flowers! Pink Perfume enjoys average, moist soil and plenty of sunshine. You?ll love it almost as much as the butterflies! Zones 3-7.
