    This is the first Spike Moss I've ever had, but I'm very excited to have a plant that is likely to survive in a fairly dimly lit spot. The plant was packed absolutely perfectly, which I'm coming to realize is typical for Hirt's Gardens. Half of the plant was GORGEOUS but half was looking like it had had a rough trip. I took some pictures and sent them to Hirt's customer service and had a reply from Matt Hirt within just a few hours. He recommended letting the soil dry a little and giving it some humidity. I pointed a vaporizer at it and have been spritzing the leaves and it is looking much better already. I would have given 4 stars based on its initial appearance, but the quick reply, helpful advice and quick rebound (obviously a fundamentally healthy plant) made it a 5.
