Audrey Indian Banyon Fig Tree - Ficus benghalensis - Easy to Grow - 6" Pot

After much pinteresting and determining the right plants for my home space, I decided on the Audrey Ficus. The interwebs said these are harder to find at a standard nursery and by golly they were right. Bam, in comes Hirts to save the day. They had the Audrey and they ship! The plant (along with a few others) arrived safely at my door in under a week. Since being transferred from the growers pot, the plants are thriving in their new space and I can't wait to see them grow. Thanks Hirts!

Beautiful specimen of ficus benghalensis/"Audrey"! Mine was more than ready to expand past a 6 inch pot - there were roots extending like 5-6 inches out of the drainage holes! I rated 4 stars versus 5 because the growth tip on the tree is a tan/brown rather than the vibrant green I'd expect. I'm not quite sure what causes that or if maybe the leaf sheath browns before opening another leaf.

This Ficus Audrey came healthy and fuller than expected. It came with multiple trunks (3). It is also taller than I was expecting (~20 inches from bottom of pot to top of plant). So far I have only lost one leaf a week into having it, which is expected of ficuses with a new environment. For the price, this was definitely worth it for me. As always, happy with yet another purchase through Hirts.

This plant came to me in excellent condition. And it is so beautiful. It is almost like a combination of a Fiddle Leaf Fig and a Rubber Tree but I think I like it better than both of those!
