Product Description

Astrantia major Abbey Road produces tall, wine red blossoms on nearly black stems, with a lighter mound of small florets forming a small dome at the center of each, giving rise to the common names of "Hattie's Pincushion plant". It is excellent as both a dried and cut flower. It will thrive in bright sunny spots, but also in a shaded area of your garden. The blooms will appear from June to August in moist, fertile soil. Masterwort is an exceptionally good cut flower and also attractive in the garden. ronounced, long-lasting, crimson-tipped bracts embellish the sumptuous, petite port-colored flowers. Starry-eyed floral splendor is presented upon impressive palmate foliage. Cut fresh or dry for winter display. Midsized in habit, great for the mid border or in containers. Dead-head regularly to promote more buds and to discourage self seeding all over. Performs best when given a rich, evenly moist soil. Worst packing I've ever seen from Hirts. Dirt was spilled all in bos. Don't know if it will live.

Healthy plants shipped quickly. It's on me now, but I think they'll be fabulous!
